Originally launched in 2023, MintStars enables creators to monetize their content through subscriptions, tips, and novel content resales, where creators can earn royalties from fans reselling their content. The platform is currently home to over 4,000 creators.
MintPay is the latest innovation aimed at simplifying the tipping process, allowing fans to tip their favorite creators without the need for a MintStars account.
MintPay is designed to offer a secure, safe, and simple way for adult content creators to get paid, at a time when many platforms are shutting down or struggling due to payment discrimination against sex-positive businesses. Alongside MintPay, MintStars offers zero fees for creators (replaced by a 5% fee for fans), protection from chargebacks, and fast payouts, all underpinned by crypto stablecoin payments. This unique approach allows creators to avoid the high fees and chargeback risks associated with traditional payment processors.
